About the role:

Knauf Gypsum is seeking an experienced and reliable individual to join us as a Warehouse Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store located in Woodville North, SA.

This role involves operating forklifts, working as a team, manual handling make-up of plasterboard orders, interaction with customers and carters, and general warehousing duties. This is predominantly a manual handling position.

Applicants must be reliable, adaptable, physically fit. and be always committed to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Making up orders of plasterboard and associated products
• Dealing with customers face-to-face & carters as required
• Check accuracy of orders & paperwork to maintain due diligence
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy
• General warehouse duties & house keeping

Must have:

• A current forklift license
• Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
• Enjoy working in a team
• Reliability
• Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
• Safety mindset and can-do attitude
• Ability to start early (Mon – Fri)
