About the role:
Knauf Gypsum is seeking an experienced and reliable individual to join us as a Warehouse Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store located in Woodville North, SA.
This role involves operating forklifts, working as a team, manual handling make-up of plasterboard orders, interaction with customers and carters, and general warehousing duties. This is predominantly a manual handling position.
Applicants must be reliable, adaptable, physically fit. and be always committed to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Loading & unloading of trucks
- Making up orders of plasterboard and associated products
- Dealing with customers face-to-face & carters as required
- Check accuracy of orders & paperwork to maintain due diligence
- Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage
- Assist with stock take / inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy
- General warehouse duties & house keeping
Must have:
- A current forklift license
- Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
- Enjoy working in a team
- Reliability
- Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Safety mindset and can-do attitude
- Ability to start early (Mon – Fri)
