About the role:
Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic and confident candidate to join us as a Warehouse Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store located in Fyshwick, ACT.
The role involves; Manual handling make-up of plasterboard orders, interaction with customers and carters, working as a team, operating forklifts (licensed) when required, general warehousing duties. This is predominantly a manual handling position.

Responsibilities:
- Think and Act, Safety First, at all times
- Make-up orders of Plasterboard and associated products on a daily basis
- Dealing with Customers face-to-face & carters as required
- Assist with stock take / inventory counts to ensure accurate stock is maintained
- Check accuracy of orders, paperwork, while maintaining due diligence
- Forklift license, when required for stock movement and loading
- The ability to drive a small power operated tug and trailer unit for order make up
- Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
- Report any safety issues, faults or damage to the manager
- General warehouse duties & house keeping
Must have:
- A current forklift license is advantageous or willing to obtain
- Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
- Ability to handle plasterboard sheets and associated products
- Enjoy working in a team
- Reliability
- Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Safety mindset and can do attitude
- Ability to start early
