About the role:
Knauf Building Products are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our team. Located in Pinkenba, QLD. Reporting to the Team Leader Administration, this role is responsible for providing administration support and customer service to Knauf Linings (KL) business nationally in accordance with KL’s processes, systems.
This role is primarily responsible for providing customer service over the phone and email, monitoring and actioning KL Inbox items in timely manner. The role is also responsible for providing support in back-office tasks such as reporting, scheduling, processing, and maintaining electronic records etc
Your part in developing a stronger and faster innovative solution includes:
- Support and participate in the management of KL safety practices
- Create Inquiries & Maintain Inquiries/Projects in SAP
- Record delivery dates and other information as required in SAP
- Answer the telephone in a timely manner, address customer enquiries/requests and direct inquiries to alternative personnel where appropriate
- Receive 'call ups' from customers throughout the day, via email, telephone
- Call ups must be recorded in SAP and any other IT system in a timely manner
- Monitor KL Inbox, identify action items and update IT systems (SAP)
- Assist with general administration duties as required by the CSS Team Leader
- Assist warranty team with bookings and project information
- Assist the business with material and labour processes
- Manage all admin aspects for the project

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential building industry (preferably in contracting environment)
- Project and general administration experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service & telephone manner
- Strong computer literacy & IT system operation skills
- Knowledge of SAP and excel spreadsheets (highly advantageous)
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Honesty and integrity
