About the role:
Knauf Gypsum is seeking a passionate and reliable individual to join us as a Customer Service Representative, based in Pinkenba, QLD.
As a key member of our National Customer Service team, you will provide a high standard of customer service and play an important part in the delivery of our order management cycle to our Reseller channel customers. This further includes the handling of general customer enquiries as well as the processing, amending and scheduling of orders all within a bulk logistics environment where Knauf’s products are supplied from major Distribution Centres across Australia.
This is a salaried role with the successful candidate being able to work full time between Knauf’s operating hours ranging between 6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Provide consistent and high-quality service standards to our customers, embedding a First Time Right culture
- Schedule customer orders to ensure best use of Distribution Centre capacity
- Be inquisitive with a natural drive to learn and develop
- An ability to operate within a fast paced environment
- Manage your own work performance to meet set objectives
- Build rapport & maintain relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders
- Handle customer enquiries, orders, escalations and complaints
- Ensure business compliance to relevant governance requirements
We are looking for people who have:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Prior experience within bulk logistics, building materials or a manufacturing industry advantageous
- Exceptional phone etiquette and strong computer literacy skills
- An exceptional eye for detail and a creative problem-solving approach
- Adapt quickly to changing customer priorities and needs in a fast-paced environment
- High resilience level and the ability to cope well under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook & Excel) and SAP (an advantage)
