National Fulfilment Operations Manager

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Knauf is seeking a National Fulfilment Operations Manager to join our team and drive the success of our Knauf Fulfilment Network.
As the National Fulfilment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Knauf Fulfilment Network (KFN) roadmap relating to standards & governance, inventory & material requirements planning (MRP), safety, training & development, Fulfilment Excellence, Continuous Improvement, asset & resource management and logistics.
This role can be based out of our site in Pinkenba, QLD or in one of our Fulfilment Centre Hub locations in NSW – Chullora / Horsley Park or VIC – Dandenong South / Tarneit
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the standardisation of Fulfilment Centre operations across the KFN, ensuring consistent and repeatable performance and customer experiences in every FC location.
- Define metrics, tools and processes to achieve and audit Fulfilment Excellence, holding General Managers and FC Managers accountable for results and performance.
- Own and refine KFN Standard Operating Procedures for operational and logistical functions.
- Identify training gaps and deploy effective training programs to address them.
- Manage inventory and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to optimise stock levels and reduce working capital.
- Audit and manage mobile equipment and heavy vehicle assets to ensure compliance and maximise utilisation.
- Drive national safety programs to meet local, state, national, and Knauf APAC HSE standards.
- Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement (CI) framework, leveraging Lean/Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and enhance processes.
- Deliver major projects within scope, time, budget, and quality parameters.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics, ideally with multi-site management.
- Proven track record of driving performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience leading business transformation and managing large-scale, complex projects.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expertise in warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, WMS, and SAP (SAP mandatory).
- Certifications in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Project management skills or certifications in Agile, Scrum, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in a related field.
