About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Talent Adviser to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality talent acquisition services across our Australian business, ensuring we attract and onboard the right talent to meet our strategic goals.
As a trusted partner to hiring managers, you will provide expert guidance and support in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top talent across both blue- and white-collar roles. You will also have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in our recruitment processes, contribute to building a strong employer brand, and facilitate and support graduate programs to develop the next generation of talent.
This role can be based in Pinkenba QLD, Camellia NSW, or Port Melbourne VIC.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume recruitment across the Australian business, partnering with hiring managers to identify current and future talent needs.
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment services, from advertising to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Act as the face of Knauf, providing a professional and engaging image to potential candidates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies to secure competitive rates and consistent service.
- Proactively source talent using a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods.
- Facilitate and support graduate programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and development initiatives, to nurture emerging talent.
- Review and improve existing recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Organise pre-employment checks in a timely and efficient manner.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience: 2-3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, either in-house or agency, with a proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Sourcing Expertise: Experience with a range of sourcing techniques, including partnerships with universities and TAFE organisations.
- Graduate Program Experience: Experience in facilitating and supporting graduate programs is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Process-oriented with excellent administrative skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Resilience: High levels of resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms such as Team Tailor.
