About the Role
Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join us as a Customer Service Operator. In this role, you will serve customers and work in a warehousing environment picking orders and packing goods for delivery, loading and unloading trucks, working in pairs/teams, operating forklifts, and undertaking other general warehousing duties.
If you enjoy being part of a team, and have a strong, organized work ethic, we want to hear from you. Your ability to demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude, and willingness to work both on the floor in the warehouse and interact with customers is key to being successful in the role.
This role reports to the Fulfilment Centre Manager and is a great opportunity to join our high performing team in Kunda Park, QLD.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with customers face-to-face & over the phone.
- Picking & packing orders on a daily basis.
- Regularly check & make up orders.
- Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence.
- Loading/unloading customer vehicles.
- Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage.
- Record and report any customer complaints in line with Knauf's complaint and customer procedures.
- Assist with stock takes to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- General warehouse duties & housekeeping.
About you
- A current forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
- Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling.
- Picking, packing and dispatching experience.
- Microsoft Office skills to complete operational tasks.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.
- Team player, attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
- Good communication skills (Written & Verbal).
- Identifies development opportunities for self and team.
- Safety mindset and can-do attitude.
