HSE Advisor
Responsible for providing specialist HSE functional advice to the Plasterboard business in New South Wales, within the framework ensuring compliance with national and regional initiatives
About You
- Located in or near Camellia
- Prior experience within the Manufacturing Industry is required
- 3-5 years’ experience in a safety role
- High level experience with Microsoft Suite
- ICAM is highly regarded
- Prior experience with Chain of Responsibility function is highly regarded
- Ability to work from the Camellia site full time – This is not a Work from Home Role

About the Role
As a HSE Advisor, you will have the responsibility for providing specialist HSE functional advice to the Plasterboard business in New South Wales, within the framework ensuring compliance with national and regional initiatives.
Some tasks as part of this role include:
- Lead the implementation of the HSE plan across NSW and identify safety opportunities and initiatives
- Coaching and mentoring managers and leaders to fulfil the requirements of the HSE plan
- Provide functional advice and direction on HSE matters
- Assist and manage compliance with the Safety Management System and performance indicators
- Provide insights from statistical data and provide advice on remedial activity and submit monthly reporting to the National HSE Manager
- Facilitate and participate in high level investigations and risk assessment activities
- Facilitate training on HSE matters as well as safety committees and their initiatives
- Monitor HSE compliance via audits and plans
- Undertaking duties within the Chain of Responsibility function
