Receptionist Team Leader
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Pinkenba office as well as managing a small reception team based in Sydney and Melbourne
About You
- Located in or near Brisbane
- Proven experience in office and event management
- Proven experience managing travel and events is essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Microsoft suite knowledge is essential
- SAP knowledge would be highly regarded
- Ability to work from the Pinkenba office full time – This is not a Work from Home Role

About the Role
As a Receptionist Team Leader, you will have the responsibility for ensuring the smooth operations of the Pinkenba office as well as managing a small reception team based in Sydney and Melbourne. Your role will encompass office management, administrative support, travel arrangements for senior partners, in addition to organising all office events, not only for our Pinkenba office, but also our Melbourne and Sydney offices.
Some tasks as part of this role include:
Administration:
- Credit Card reconciliations for senior leaders
- Receipting of Goods & Services
- Assisting with incentive plan letters and program events
- Assisting in the onboarding of new starters
- Serve as the point person for all visitors and ensuring correct sign in processes are followed
- Answering phone, E-Mail and in-person enquiries
- Incoming and outgoing mail management
- Provide assistance to the Executive team when required
Office Management:
- Monitor and manage office inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, service providers, and office vendors (e.g. cleaners, office supplies)
Event Planning:
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of Leaders’ Conferences
- Planning and managing local events including team lunches, team events and corporate responsibility days
Team Leadership:
- Lead and support the Reception Team, ensuring high standards of customer service and smooth office operations across multiple sites
Travel Coordination:
- Coordinating with your team as well as the wider EA network to coordinate travel arrangements for Knauf partners and senior leaders
