About the role:
Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic and confident candidate to join us as a Warehouse Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your day to day responsibilities will include preparing and picking plasterboard orders, handling inventory counts, and ensuring the accuracy of customer orders. You will also be responsible for safely moving materials including the manual handling of products and adhering to all safety protocols. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store located in Chullora, NSW.

Responsibilities:
- Think and Act, Safety First, at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Report any safety issues, faults or damage to the manager.
- Safely load and unload materials from vehicles
- Identify and address potential safety hazards in the warehouse.
- Make-up orders of Plasterboard and associated products daily
- Dealing with Customers face-to-face & logistic providers/drivers
- Assist with stock take / inventory counts to ensure accurate stock is maintained.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing orders.
- Prestart checklist to be conducted daily for all site machinery.
- General warehouse duties & housekeeping maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Must have:
- A current forklift license is advantageous or willing to obtain.
- Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
- Ability to handle plasterboard sheets and associated products.
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Safety mindset and can do attitude.
- Must be available for early morning shifts to support timely order fulfilment and customer needs.
- Flexibility to work additional hours.
