About the Role

Knauf is seeking a passionate, experienced, and reliable Fulfilment Center Manager to join our ambitious team. This role will be based in Rockhampton, QLD.

Reporting to the General Manager - Far North QLD this role is responsible in ensuring the efficient management and development of a major trade store and personnel in accordance with the company’s strategic plans, values, operating budgets, and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and builds relationships between Knauf and its customers by demonstrating unwavering commitment to customer service.
• Provide leadership and management of trade store personnel.
• Establish and maintain a productive, co-operative team environment where customer service is paramount and sales KPI’s are achieved.
• Ensure financial compliance and due diligence on site.
• Management systems are completed within the agreed scheduled timeframes.
• Effectively manage trade store profit & loss whilst implementing strategies to effect change where required.
• Full responsibility for managing sites inventory.
• Provide Management with industry relevant market intelligence.
• Effectively manage sales and promotional activities at trade store.
• Manage transport resources to ensure a safe and efficient delivery service.

• Has excellent communication skills.
• Responds to demands quickly and efficiently.
• Background or experience in sales, distribution, or customer service.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT relevant applications.
• High level negotiation skills.
• Competent in project management or willing to learn.
• Forklift License. (preferred but not essential and must be willing to obtain one)
