About the role:
Knauf Gypsum has an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Assistant Fulfilment Centre Manager to work in our new & modern Fulfilment Centre based in Kunda Park, Sunshine Coast. Reporting directly to the Fulfilment Centre Manager, this role is best suited to a person with strong leadership skills who can lead by example, has great communication skills both written and verbal & has a natural ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
It is critical to understand the importance of complying with Workplace Health & Safety Standards and follow protocol. Be passionate about learning new skills for career development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the training and development of new team members to ensure they understand and deliver our high standards of customer service
- Accountable for a continuous improvement at the site
- Assist in analyzing KPI and stock-keeping data, identifying issues, and preparing reports for resolution and action
- Assisting to create a positive and motivating culture within the team that inspires great performance and supporting all levels of team member performance
- Builds and sustains positive relationships within the team
- Ensure that Knauf Gypsum values are part of the operational culture
- Foster a culture of change readiness to optimise labour usage and streamline processes
- Occupational Health & Safety and preventative maintenance
- Building client relationship
About you:
- Proven experience in building services in a Retail or Commercial environment
- Previous trade experience is highly desirable
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential and must be willing to obtain one)
- Excellent communications, relationship building and time management skills
- Maintaining a premium level of cleanliness and presentation within a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Driver licence (preferred but not essential)
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience in the use of SAP is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel, Outlook, Work and PowerPoint
