About You
- Located in Brisbane
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a specification role or similar
- Transferrable skills from Architecture, Engineering or Technical role highly desirable
- Understanding of building regulations/codes and construction practices
- Ability to work across multiple sites

About the Role
As an Architectural & Specifications Manager, you will have the responsibility for driving the promotion of Knauf products/systems to the architectural and design community in securing advantage specifications and collaborating with the Commercial Sales team to convert specifications into sales orders.
Some tasks as part of this role include:
- Drive the specification of Knauf products and systems by providing architectural support, promoting new and existing products to the market, and utilize value-added services such as BIMWIZARD, E-Tools and Value Engineering to target key architectural firms and building segments within the designated region.
- Maximise conversion of advantage specifications to sales orders by collaborating with the Commercial Sales and Engineering teams throughout the construction cycle
- Identify new project opportunities through multiple platforms (e.g. Estimate ONE) and work to convert these specifications with our architectural contacts to Knauf products/systems to maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure strong customer engagement with Knauf is achieved through key account plans, CPD requirements, project support including design reviews, technical responses, product sample approvals, ensure engagement is across multiple level of influence (Architectural Director, Senior Architects, project Architects and interior designers)
- Be responsible for initiating customer back innovation through representation and feedback from Architectural community regarding design issues or design trends and feeding information into Knauf innovation pipeline
