This 1st of July 2025, we’re excited to open our brand-new Trade Store in Bendigo, VIC, and we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Fulfilment Centre Manager to lead the team and drive the success of this exciting new venture.
About the Role:
As the Fulfilment Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new Bendigo Trade Store. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage a small team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain efficient warehouse and delivery operations. You will play a key role in building a high-performing team and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Our brand-new trade store is set to officially open its doors on 1st July 2025.
Operating hours will be from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM."
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operations of the new Bendigo Trade Store, including warehouse, delivery, and customer service functions
- Build, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and excellence
- Oversee the safe and timely delivery of plasterboard and related materials to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory, including stock control, replenishment, and minimizing damage or loss
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Develop and implement efficient processes for order picking, packing, and delivery
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer needs and achieve business goals
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency
- Drive a strong focus on workplace health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving issues and building strong relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within logistics, warehousing, or trade store operations
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency
- A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Experience in inventory management and stock control
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Forklift license or experience is advantageous (training/certification may be provided)
- Knowledge of plasterboard or construction materials is desirable but not essential
