About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our high-performing warehouse team. Based in Bendigo, VIC you will take on a hands-on role in ensuring the accurate picking, packing, and movement of stock to meet customer needs and support our supply chain operations.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll thrive in this physically active role while playing your part in Knauf’s reputation for excellence. Ideal for candidates who enjoy working in multiple areas of the warehouse and the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring flawless attention to detail
- Perform manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading plasterboard sheets (some sheets may weigh up to [specify weight, e.g., 25kg/50lbs])
- Safely load and unload deliveries, organize goods, and maintain efficient stock movement within the warehouse
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all workplace health and safety standards
- Efficiently sort and store materials to ensure they’re accessible and secured to avoid damage
- Utilize warehouse tools and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided) to transport and organize stock
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met
About You – What We’re Looking For:
- Energetic and physically fit – ready to tackle the daily demands of a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Previous experience in a similar warehousing role is advantageous but not essential – we’ll train the right candidate
- A team player who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and versatile in your approach to tasks
- Able to work efficiently under time pressure while maintaining high standards
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack (or a willingness to learn and acquire certification)
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance
